I am the bubbly, goofy photographer for Shear Bliss Photography and I am SOO excited to meet you! When I am not photographing people, or my dogs (haha!), you can find me going on adventures with my husband, watching Friends on TV, or at my other job as a veterinarian. So do you have pets? Well, we will probably talk about them a lot and I ALWAYS love when they come along.
For me, photos have always been something I have cherished, something I hold on to. Photos remind us of the past, yet allows us to look toward the future. Photography captures the heart, exposes the soul, and reminds us who we are and what means the most to us. Really deep right? I have been photographing special moments since 2013 where I began my photography journey in Stillwater, Oklahoma. I am now based in the gorgeous state of New Hampshire but willing to travel just about dang ANYWHERE. I specialize in photographing couples, whether that be through engagements or portraits AND I am now accepting inquiries for intimate weddings and elopements. I am so passionate about love and capturing that authentic, raw emotion. Where did the name "Shear Bliss" come from?
No, I know nothing about trimming hair (dog or human) but I do know how to shear a sheep ;). I grew up on a small hobby farm in Southern, NH called "Shear Bliss Farm." We raised everything from sheep to goats, horses to chickens, etc. I have so many fond memories of this home and this farm and I couldn't think of a more special name for my photography business.
